I have a love/hate relationship with birth control. I stopped and detoxed from the pill over 10 years ago. But, I'll never forget how I felt mentally while I was on it. I use to take packs consecutively. This was instructed by a doctor at the time. But, ever since I got off of it, I noticed a balance in my mood and immediately felt motivated to try traditional therapy, more so known as talk therapy. Basically, it's when you just talk to your therapist, and they counsel you. For some folks this can be a gateway to other types of therapy like exposure, behavioral, or cognitive behavior.
