How is this new course different from Vine to Voice, The Copy House, and the Tasting Room?
Good question! All of the above are the names of our original (now retired) programs. While we loved each of them in their own right, we decided to combine and streamline for your benefit.
Vine to Voice was solely focused on brand positioning, voice, and messaging, helping you complete a brand messaging style guide for your business. It did not cover any elements of research, SEO, or website copywriting.
The Copy House was a website copywriting course and cohort-based group program only available a couple of times per year. (It did not cover aspects of positioning, voice, and messaging.)
While completely different in format, content, and structure, The Copy House would be the most similar to what's being offered through these new programs, The Essential Copy Course™ (TECC) and The (Non) Copywriter's Society™ (TNCS).
The Society offers a cohort-style, hands-on, 3-months of support (like The Copy House did) - but now as an optional add-on. We discovered that some students preferred to obtain the material and learn independently, rather than investing in the group program aspects they didn't plan to fully make use of. So we wanted to give you the option so you could choose the path that's right for you.
The Tasting Room was a 4-part bundle sharing the highlights of brand messaging, website copywriting, sales pages, and email welcome sequences. It was predominantly template-based for those looking for a quick, stripped down way to approach a variety of needed pieces of copy in their business.
The other part of our decision to eliminate and combine is that we truly see brand messaging + website copywriting as working hand-in-hand and wanted to offer you a complete approach to both, in one unified program.
It's most in line with The CU Way and our signature done-for-you offers that produce ideal outcomes for our agency clients.
TECC + TNCS is how we're helping you do the same, without the done-for-you price point.
Further, as we've grown in our craft over the years, we wanted to provide new material, fresh examples, more swipe-able templates, an all-in-one community-driven platform, and a less video-based course format that required ample time listening and less time being able to write.
This is the beginning of more to come through CU Edu, with TECC as the ‘core study’, foundational piece of it all.
Is there a chance for you to enable a more accessible payment plan?
We're offering a 20% discount on either TECC or the TECC + TNCS combo, along with a pay-in-full or 3-month payment plan option.
The Course is fully delivered upfront and available to enroll with the discount and first payment for as low as $292.53.
The Course + Society are available to enroll with the discount and first payment for as low as $585.86.
Given the product delivery and time-based nature of the Society, extended payment plans are not currently available. That said, we fully recognize that times are … tricky. Send us an email request for consideration.
Who are the guest speakers and what topics will they cover?
So glad you asked! We'll be adding this info to the Society page shortly. They're highly-qualified experts in their fields and we're really excited for them to share their lane of genius, as it relates to helping you with your copy.
How frequently will they be featured inside the community?
The guest speakers will appear during their 1-hour session for an instructional presentation, followed by a live Q&A. Guest speaker sessions will also be recorded and available for viewing within the Society's Replay Library.
Otherwise, the community is led by our CU team, including Kaitlyn, Kari, and Hannah, who you will have access to on a weekly basis via the chat feature, and in bi-monthly Office Hours.
What do you mean with "hover tutorials"? What topics will they cover?
Great question! These are video walkthroughs of us completing a research, writing, or editing task in action, as if you were hovering over our shoulder.
When are these tutorials going to be released?
These supplemental tutorials are released as questions and needs arise throughout the cohort and as deemed helpful to your learning & copywriting process by our team. The Society is intended to be living & breathing; pouring up the extra info you need when you need it.
