in all due time
Hello hi, happy turkey week! It has been a full week and weekend – and even though I'm looking forward to the holiday season, it also brings with it a bit of nerves, if I'm honest. This will be the first year that p.t.o. = t.o. (just time off) and I won't have a steady paycheck to count on. But since this transition into solopreneurship has been a lesson in faith over fear, I'm choosing to believe that it'll be ok, even though it will feel different!

Some highlights from this past week + weekend: Visited Leesburg with my friend Sarah! We hit up my favorite shop WLDWST and stopped at Stone Tower Winery before heading home. We didn't make it to Buford's before they ran out of biscuits – rookie mistake. Go earlier than noon!

I also caught up with my friend Jane from Waco! Ah, what a treat to get a text from her saying she'd be in town for a few days. We met for a walk about the Phillip's Collection before heading to Reveler's Hour for a late
dinner. I haven't been to the Phillip's yet actually – and was delightfully shocked by how amazing it was! I've been missing out! So many beautiful architectural details.

To top it all off, I enjoyed lunch at Le Dip with a few other girlies working in real estate and design. Not having coworkers has been an adjustment, so these moments feel so sweet. I think a standing reservation for four might be on my wishlist – with a rotating roster of guests to join me for a warm shrimp salad and a side of fries. You in?

PS – have you watched the crown?? Y'all, I went from having very limited Black Friday shopping plans to clearing my calendar. Diana's style is everything. Two people this past weekend asked me if I was English (lol?) – I must have picked up a few of the intonations and words during my time over there. I think some perfect button downs and gold hoops though would really fool them, though!
Additional notes from projects this week:
There is one opportunity left on my books for mini sessions! I'll be hosting minis December 2 in Capitol Hill. These photos will be turned around asap so that you have them in time for holiday orders!

Last week I photographed a home with Cann Construction, a DC based and women-owned construction company. Working with Bella always brings me back to my architecture school days!

I am hosting a Reel Workshop & Walk in Georgetown on December 2 from 2 PM - 3:30 PM! As I continue to refine the format of these workshops, each one is a bit different. This one will be 1.5 hours long and will focus on Christmas decor in Georgetown, and the investment is $125. Email me if you'd like to snag a spot before I post on Instagram!
