Late October, we had our first flower workshop since our store closure. Without skipping a beat, a wonderful time was had! Huge shoutout to our gracious host, Hiiiwav located in Downtown Oakland. They are a creative incubator focused on Black artist-entrepreneurs. You can find out more information about this amazing organization by clicking here. 

 

What's always so beautiful to me about these workshops is that for 2-3 hours, we create our own therapeutic creative bubble where we laugh, sing along to the music, talk, eat snacks, drink, encourage one another and hype each other up :) We lay the weight of our worlds down upon entry, relax our shoulders, breathe and create.  My spirit is always so full afterward! Did you know that we deliver fresh floral bundles to Zocalo Coffee House?! Zocalo is a small, local business located just inside San Leandro and is built with community in mind. Whether it's Sunday Brunch or you need a cool spot to plug up your laptop and get some work done, they welcome it all. Check them  out every Saturday for your fresh bundle. But, make sure you get there early because they find their new homes rather quickly!
