Hate to break it to you, but the reality is:
 
"There are people less qualified than you, doing the things you want to do, simply because they decided to believe in themselves and take action."
 
I'm sharing this quote I just saw from my friend Meg on Instagram because it lights a fire under my own butt, too. 
 
I'd actually file the “there are people less qualified than you doing the things you want to do” statement under my list of things that make me straight up mad. 😬
Perhaps, the above quote gets me going so much because I intimately know what it's like to sit in the planning, waiting, wishing, wondering, imagining stages for so long  - only to see someone else sprout up overnight and run with (ahem) “my” idea. 😝 
 
Look, we preached the necessity of “waiting” all summer long so I don't intend to be contradictory. While it wasn't easy, we were in a season of sowing, in order to bring tangible things to the surface.
 
So my question to you is are you in a season of mindfully and patiently sowing - or stalling and comparing?
 
The decision to wait can be a product of wisdom.
 
But it can also cause you to miss out on viable business opportunities. Secure valuable intellectual property. Obtain talented partners or team members. Garner brand loyalty. Strike while a market is hot. Stir up greater belief in yourself. The list goes on …
 
 
I don't share all of this to scare you or persuade you into anything that isn't right for you, or at the right time.
 
But if it's simply doubt, indecision, analysis paralysis, perfectionism, procrastination, or unrealized fears that are keeping you from doing the things you want to do — then yes, consider this the tough love reminder you need to take action. 
 
 
I know (all too well at times) that running a business is overwhelming. Often isolating. Confusing AF. 
 
And to complicate matters more, the very place we tend go for answers (hi online world), can be a cesspool of conflicting opinions, distractions, and additional to do's that leave you pulled in no less than a handful of directions at a time. 
 
Hence the lack of belief and stalled action that often follows …
 
The last thing we ever want to do is add to the chaos, noise, or confusion.
