Look for the Helpers
You know how sometimes when you feel totally inundated and overwhelmed, the best thing you can do is stop whatever you're doing and step away?
I have been there so many times as a mother. The latest was a last minute costume for decade-day (we went 60s) and a tri-fold poster board needed by the NEXT school day. I decided to walk away and go mindlessly watch Dancing with the Stars.
The crazy thing is, it all got done. Largely thanks to not worrying about the details and leaning into the helpers.
That's what I'm here to do for families that hire me to photograph their crazy, busy lives. I'm here to help - to take over the details so you can just show up and have fun with your kids!
Seriously, sometimes it gets a little crazy around this time of year, but I absolutely love what I do and wouldn't trade it for the world.
