Artwork: Tianxing Xu, ‘Heavens of Simulation’, 2023, Acrylic and marker on linen Tianxing Xu (b. 1996, Shanghai, China) is a visual artist currently based in New York. He has trained in painting at the East China Normal University, during an exchange program at Pratt Institute, and completed an M.F.A. at the Savannah College of Art and Design. For Tianxing Xu, the work remains unfinished without the presence of the audience. Working across a range of visual mediums, his work has captured themes of incomplete memories, emotional distance, and recollection. This was shot during the exhibition period of his show, Jamaica, at 447 Space earlier this year. We sat down with the artist to talk about the impetus behind his most ambitious body of work yet. |

Artwork: Andreea Bodnari, ‘Inception’, 2023, Archival print on Hahnemühle Museum Etching Andreea Bodnari ‘ALIVE’, at Van Der Plas Gallery We worked with self-trained artist Andreea Bodnari to print her debut show ALIVE at Van Der Plas Gallery. As generative pieces, the work represents the Bondari's exploration of existential duality, harmony, and ambivalence. Among these prints are also acrylic facemounts, offering multiple dimensions to experience the show. ALIVE opens tonight, December 7th at 6:00 PM. RSVP to attend the premiere. |

We worked with one of our favorite galleries, bitforms gallery, to print recent works by Auriea Harvey, an artist always at the forefront of new media work and technology. Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic, these works reflect Harvey's 3d-modelling practice as a medium for self-portraiture, character creation, and world building. |

It has been a very long, very transformative year for our studio. To everyone who has kept up with and supported our new programs, initiatives, re-launches, announcements, and more, thank you for making 2023 a truly memorable one. Our studio will be closed from December 23rd until January 2nd next year, for some much needed rest and recuperation as we reflect on the year. |

As always, we cannot wait to show you what we still have in store, but all of that will have to wait until the next year. For now, our studio wishes you a wonderful and celebratory holiday season. Stay warm and we'll see you in 2024! |
