We've got big news to share this month, so be sure to read the announcements section below.  But first, we want to say thank you for coming out to our annual Asmbly Maker Market!

Everyone had a great time shopping unique handcrafted items and we loved reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.  For those who didn't make it or wished they bought that thing they went home and couldn't stop thinking about, we've got you covered. 

We updated our event page here to include links to all our vendors from the market this year.  See what they've got left for sale and snag those missed items before they're gone!

A lot goes into these events and our vendors, musicians, sponsors, and food trucks fuel the fun.  But behind the scenes, the major heroes are the many volunteers who worked hard to bring it all together.  Eternal thanks to our dedicated volunteers who make events like this happen!

The Asmbly team continues to grow and we're thrilled to announce our biggest addition yet…

Back in June, we made a modest increase to our membership dues to support the rising cost of operation in Austin and build towards hiring Asmbly's first ever full time employee.  Since then, Shane joined the community and it's almost like we manifested him out of thin air.

Membership is not required for most all events.

We have another special Community Social Hour this month.  This time, we'll meet at Vigilante (most of which was built at Asmbly) and our host will be Shane, our new GM! Join us for an evening of fun and games as we celebrate this huge milestone for Asmbly.  We'll also pick up a round of food and drinks for the table 😋

Visit Asmbly's booth at Flores Holiday Market at Canopy Studios where we'll be demoing laser engraving!  Explore the entire Canopy campus to meet 50 other artists and vendors, grab some food and free drinks, and enjoy live music.  If you're feeling crafty, you can kick the event off at 11am with Okay Lahv for a donation-based embroidery class.  Register for the workshop here.

Our last field trip of the year is one 3D printing enthusiasts have been talking about for months — Austin 3D Printing Supply & Essentium!  This new supplier in Pflugerville provides a truly local source for 3DP supplies with filament made onsite in their factory.  We'll be getting the full tour from Ryan, their Vice President.  Come join us and bring all your 3DP questions for this special event!
