Happy Snowy Saturday from Colorado! We got a few inches most of the day yesterday and into the night so I'm currently staring out the window with zero plans to leave my house although I know I have a few errands to run today. 

Maybe if it melts…

This week was work and school as usual in our house with the exception of Thursday. 

December 7th was the third anniversary of my late husband's passing. In some ways, it's hard to believe he's been gone that long and in others it feels like it just happened. Several people reached out to me that day and asked me how I was doing and I had to pause. It's a hard question to answer.

The things I miss are more related to memories and watching his interaction with the Twinx. But I also know I wouldn't be where I am right now if he hadn't passed away. There's not an easy answer, but with something like the death of someone so young, I have to wonder if there ever will be. So Thursday is a day of family—the kids and I all stay home and we do something he would have liked to do. This year we went to the movies and saw Trolls 3 before meeting my mom, sister, and her family (plus Dennis) for my sister's birthday dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. 

It got me wondering, how do you celebrate family? Either birthdays or in memory of those no longer here?

If you haven't seen Trolls 3, I definitely recommend it! It was super cute for the entire family and even several adult humor jokes. Plus, boy bands…need I say more?

(Except maybe NSYNC forever!)
