Hey, First name / friends! |
This week we’re focusing on drawing snowflakes! It always amazes me that no two snowflakes are the same and every single one has a unique makeup. It makes me think of how we as artists all have our own unique voices. One of the many reasons I love seeing your #CreateWithCatCoq challenge posts each week is that every one of you has a different interpretation of the prompt. Your artistic voice is as unique as a snowflake! (That is to say, you’re one in a trillion, baby! 🤩) |

#CreateWithCatCoq - Snowflakes |
This week your #CreateWithCatCoq challenge is to create an illustration or pattern using snowflakes as the main motif. I’d recommend trying to create a seamless pattern for this challenge. Snowflakes are massively popular during the holiday season, and a repeat pattern will increase the different types of products that your design can go on. Think wrapping paper, apparel, table runners, and fabric just to name a few! |
I can’t wait to see your snowflake patterns! Don’t forget to share your work on Instagram with the hashtag #CreateWithCatCoq so I can like, comment, and share your work! Want to learn how to make a repeat pattern? I have posts on my blog that walk you through how to create repeat patterns in both Procreate and Photoshop! |

As we’re heading into the heart of the holiday season, I’ve been reflecting on the past year and everything that’s made it so special. I just want to say a huge thank you to you for being here, sharing your art, and taking steps toward your artistic goals. You are the reason I do what I do, and I couldn’t be more grateful! I hope that you have a fantastic week and get to enjoy some time to rest and spend time with the ones you love! ❤️ |
