This week's interview:
SFN: What gave you the idea to add narrating audiobooks to your life and career?
SNP: My kids had gotten older and I was looking for something creative to do from home where I could use my degree in acting and my skills in voiceover. Plus, I’m a huge reader so it just seemed to fit!
SFN: What's your favorite part of the process? Prep? Recording dialogue? Pressing Save?
SNP: I love a really good story and getting lost in the characters. Especially when I have 6 or 7 and I’m already halfway through the book and I don’t need to look up what they sound like anymore. They all just come to me in the scene. Best feeling ever.
SFN: Where and when would you go if you could spend either a week in the past or a week in the future?
SNP: Honestly? I love my life right where it is, but I’ve always wondered what would have happened if I had said yes to Patrick Dempsey when he asked me out.
SFN: [SWOON!] What are you reading/watching/eating/whatever floats your boat these days that you want everyone else to try?
SNP: Well, it’s almost Christmas and these cold weather months call for Raclette. If you love cheese, I highly recommend you give it a try!
SFN: What or who inspires you as an artist?
SNP: January LaVoy is a constant inspiration. Her approach to a text and execution thereof is always stellar.
