I blinked and somehow we're two weeks out from 2024!  I wanted to send a quick note before the end of the year to share a few new posts (and a sneak peek from my Prague Christmas Markets trip), some interesting travel notes/news, and also some last-minute gift ideas if you've not got that sorted yet…something for every type of traveler in your life!

Europe tickets are still cheap!  That November to March/April timeframe is still crazy affordable, to all sorts of destinations and from even usually-expensive airports. If you've never used the Google Flights “map search” hack, this is the perfect time to try it!

 

Are you road trippin' this holiday season?  AAA has released a forecast for the best days and times to hit the roads, to avoid lots of traffic and delays.

 

It's Spotify Wrapped time…and TravelPulse shared a fun article telling you where you should travel based on your Wrapped “personality” results.

 

A possible trend in 2024:  “surprise travel”!  Would you pack a bag and go to the airport without knowing where you're going??

A FEW PHOTOS FROM PRAGUE

I took advantage of those awesome Europe flight deals and snagged a long weekend in Prague early December.  I visited once for like a day, back in 2009, and have been dying to get back ever since.

 

This time of year is cold but beautiful, and with the added charm of the Christmas markets.  Here are a few photos to whet your appetite, and I'll be sharing more on the blog soon!

Where I'm headed next:  I'm headed to sunny southern Spain & Portugal in late January, and likely Cabo in mid-February.  Then in late March I'll be headed to South Africa for a major bucket list trip!!
