Dear First name / Friend,

If you had to come up with one word that captures what you desire the most in 2024, what would it be and why?

I've been reflecting on this question, and the word I keep coming back to is JOY

To provide you with some context, joy is my leading core value. It's my personal mission to live a joyful life, make the world a better place, and inspire others to do the same.

But the truth is, last year didn't feel joyful. While I certainly had beautiful memories, there weren't enough “everyday moments” where I felt pure, authentic, and unfiltered joy.

2023 was filled with change, grief, and to-do lists. At times it felt like I was going through the motions and treading water instead of actually enjoying my life. Can you relate?

This year I want to do things differently and call in more joyful times. Whether it's laughing my a** off with friends, going on a hike, facilitating a team retreat, or listening to the symphony, I'm here for all of it.

Speaking of joy, I hope you'll enjoy the New Year's issue of The Digest. Scroll down for more resources, including an interview with one of my coaching clients, a new book I'm loving, and an invitation to our brand new community challenge.

If you have a minute, reply to this email to let me know what you're wanting more of in 2024, or what your word might be.

Wishing you a fantastic new year.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH

I hope you allow your life to be bigger than what you ever thought it could be. I hope you don't get trapped by small stories. I hope you don't long for the things you've outgrown just because they're familiar. Most of all, I hope you recognize the light when it hits you. I hope you let yourself do more than you ever thought you could.
