by helping us release the heavy and the hard and making our wishes that much more real.

For those of you that celebrate Christmas, letters to Santa were often a key part of growing up. That letter writing created magic all on it's own, man in red suit or not. Writing has a power to release, to heal, to connect, to provide clarity, and to plant seeds of new intentions. Writing takes what's in our heads and makes it real on paper.

Whether you believe in the power of magic or not, you deserve it and all the joy and goodness the universe, God, Santa want to bestow on you.

Below I share three writing prompts and practices to close out your year, unleash a bit of magic, and step more confidently into the next.

Before I dive into the coaching tips of this week's email, I wanted to acknowledge those that might need the writing to release the heavy more this time of year than others. Holidays are joyful and beautiful, but they can also be isolating, filled with grief, and just stressful and hard. If you read last week's email, I'll gently nudge you again to take a few moments just for you. If you're missing loved ones that can no longer be with you, simply let them know in your mind's eye you love and miss them. If you're really wanting reassurance you can also ask them for a sign (be specific, they'll deliver!).

And if you're feeling extra lonely, please simply reply to this email, I will reply as quickly as I see it.

I also wanted to let you know that this will be the last brand email from me in 2023. In spirit of full presence and connection, you won't hear from me in this way again until 2024. I'll be spending the time embracing new traditions with those I love, connecting with clients, enhancing my business foundation, and creating space to tune into the intentions I'd like to root in for the upcoming year.

Get ready for even more impactful information and empowering content. My looking glass into January of 2024 shows great things are headed your way.

3 Simple Writing Exercises to Close Out Your Year with More Clarity:
  • Write a list of all the things you're ready to let go of and not bring into 2024
    • Examples can be: clothes that don't fit, an outdated habit or mindset, a story you tell yourself that's no longer true, relationships that make you feel heavy and hold you back, excess stuff, etc
  • Write a list of all you're proud of that you did in 2023
    • Remember to include the inner work that may not be visible to others! This tends to be the hardest.
  • Write a list that describes your ideal set of intentions for 2024
    • Let yourself dream!
An intention for you: may you feel lovingly held now and always.

Whatever and however you celebrate, I am wishing you and yours many tiny blessings, moments of pure connection and awe, and so much cozy and laughter this holiday season.
