research & grants update
Dear Community,

In the warmth of this holiday season, and as the 100WS Research and Grants Team Chair, I am delighted to report a series of exciting moments this past month.

In November, after thorough consideration, our Research and Grant Team recommended a grant that would support a program that helps mitigate the 'Cliff Effect" to the full 100WS membership. This program reflects our commitment to fostering women's growth through pivotal knowledge and support. It's a significant step forward in our mission, and we eagerly anticipate the positive changes it will bring.

The 100 Women Strong membership unanimously endorsed the Research and Grant Team recommendation. This allowed us to officially present our recommendation to the Central Florida Foundation Board of Directors for approval.

At its December meeting, the Central Florida Foundation Board of Directors ratified our choice unanimously for our 2024 grant.

We can't wait to share more details with you!

A resounding Thank You to our Research and Grant Team: JoEllen Ross, Allie Yadav, Kathy Rovito, Krystal Morris, Mia Poinsette, Molly Yuska, Susan Arkin, Zohra Savja, Renuka Sastri, and Leslie Hartog. Your dedication is truly the backbone of our success. Our deep gratitude also goes to our Central Florida Foundation advisors, Sandi Vidal and Alissa Mahadeo, for their unwavering support.

Let me finish by warmly thanking each of our members. Together, we've woven a tapestry of commitment and community that truly embodies the season of giving!

Happy Holidays!
