Happy New Year—2024
Dear First name / friend,
 
End of December, wow! You will be reading this month's newsletter while I am on vacation with my family. I am finishing the year with some family time. How did it go in December for me? You can see the gifts under our tree. Packaging gifts and preparing baskets is my hobby, and I create time for this every December. I really love this time of the year. I love the rituals whether you are celebrating Christmas, New Year's, or both.
December started very gently. I started the month listening to Norah Jones everyday, and then at some point it turned to Michael Bublé and all the other lovely seasonal songs. However, the last few weeks have been a bit chaotic for me, although I really wanted to take it slow. So, I decided to take the first week of the new year slow and spare time to just review past year and plan the new year ahead, as well as write my new year's resolutions. One of my new year's resolutions is already set: writing more blog posts this year!
We have already had the 2023 Review and Reflect session in the group program I have been involved in this year and will continue to be involved in 2024. I know I will be working harder this year to launch my new packages soon. Stay tuned!
 
This month was full of sessions, and I completed the birth education sessions with a couple of families. I also accompanied a birth this month. Welcome, baby Mars! 
 

 
Doulas Around the Planet
 
I would like to share with you a special video that was made for the European Doula Network 2023 Conference. It made me so emotional when I first watched it at the conference. You can see how similar we are doula-ing all around the world and that ‘we are all the same’. You can watch the short video made from photos here.
