Merry Christmas, First name / friend!

I'm praying that today is full of whatever it is that your soul needs, whether it's family, quiet, action, or rest.  God is with you in all of it. We now this definitively through the story of the first Christmas, the night when Christ was born, a day that Christians have observed all over the world for centuries. We remember that God could have come into the world in so many ways, but God chose to come onto the scene, in the flesh, just as all of us do: as a baby needing the love and support of family.

We call ourselves Community for a reason, because we all need it! There isn't a single person in the world that doesn't need others, to know that they're loved, safe, and welcomed in all that they are. That is you and this is us!

Thank you for being such a gift to our new church. May you know the peace that the angels sang over the shepherds, unable to contain the excitement of the event they'd also been longing for:

“10 The angel said, “Don’t be afraid! Look! I bring good news to you—wonderful, joyous news for all people. 11 Your savior is born today in David’s city. He is Christ the Lord. 12 This is a sign for you: you will find a newborn baby wrapped snugly and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great assembly of the heavenly forces was with the angel praising God. They said, 14 “Glory to God in heaven, and on earth peace among those whom God favors.” - Luke 2

A couple of things:
  • Our next Get Interested Event is slated for January 10 at 6pm. If you're new to our community, this is an opportunity to learn more.  All are welcome! Register here.
  • If you need a prayer, a pep talk, or a chat over the holiday season, call or text our new church number - (940) 202-0897 - and I'll get back to you as soon as I'm able.
Finally, I would love nothing more than to meet with you after the holidays and talk about what you're looking for in a church family. I've got appointment times setup in January, but if those times don't work for you, we can set something else up! Click here to go to my online calendar and pick your spot!
