Happy New Year, First name / my friend!

It's that doldrum-y time of year where we're all recovering from the sugar high of the holidays. I can promise that, sooner or later, I'll have a new book announcement for you. I'm hoping for sooner, since I've been sitting on one announcement forrrrevvvverrrrrr and I'm very concerned I'm going to slip up and spill it all one of these days.

Until then, I want to share incredible reads from 2023.

Forget Me Not by Julie Soto. Such a lovely, perfect book. One of my favorites.
Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan. I know I gushed about this one not too long ago but this really was a magnificent book. I read in audio and loved it so much, and I'm obsessed with the early copy I received of the next book in the series, This Could Be Us.
Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez. This was my first read of 2023 and it was such a great one that I immediately plowed through all of Abby's other books.
Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher. 2023 was my year of getting sucked into series long after everyone else had found them, and Lauren Asher's books (Dirty Air, Dreamland Billionaires) were no exception.
The Wolf Hotel series by KA Tucker. These books are absolutely wild and I gobbled them up.
If Shakespeare Were an Auntie series by Nisha Sharma. If you love how the Walshes put the FUN in dysfunctional families, you'll also love Dating Dr. Dil and Tastes Like Shakkar. I'm eagerly awaiting Marriage and Masti, coming this summer.
The Bergman Brothers series and the Wilmot Sisters series by Chloe Liese. Chloe writes such immersive books where you just know the characters inside and out.
The Twisted series and Kings of Sin series by Ana Huang. These are just the most gorgeous, delicious escapism.
Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maeher. This is a very fun read. If you like the movie Enchanted or the Once Upon a Time TV series, you'll like this too.
The Grumpy Devil series by Elizabeth O'Roark. These angsty slow burns will keep you turning the pages past your bedtime.

Earbuds for small ears! I keep getting an insane amount of questions so I'm going to keep talking about my small ears because apparently WE ALL have small ears and we're suffering through this scourge of giant earbuds. I prefer this set though I also have this slightly larger set.
