This is the official notice of the existence of current vacancies on the Cherry Creek North Board of Directors.
 
Those eligible to serve must be:
  1. A citizen of the United States; and
  2. Eighteen years or older; and
  3. A resident of Colorado
Those eligible to serve must also either:
  1. Own taxable real or personal property (in your personal name, not a corporation or other entity name) within the boundaries of the district; or
  2. Be the holder of a leasehold interest in taxable real or personal property (in your personal name, not a corporation or other entity name) within the boundaries of the district; or
  3. Be the natural person designated by an owner or lessee of taxable real or personal property in the district who is not a natural person to vote for such owner or lessee. Only one such person may be designated by an owner or lessee.
Board of Directors will be expected to attend a board orientation and monthly meetings, as well as to serve on committees and occasionally participate in board retreats. Directors will become familiar with the Bylaws of the Cherry Creek North board and be willing to abide by their goverance.
 
Persons who have met specific qualifications and have fully completed the application will be interviewed by the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee will then recommend final selections to the full board at a future board meeting. Once approved by the board, the names of the approved nominees will be forwarded to the Denver Mayor's Office of Boards and Commissions for official approval and appointment by the Mayor. Notifications will be sent to all applicants notifying them of their place in the process.
