Forget Consistency, First name / friend

You probably know Jerry Seinfeld more for comedy than consistency, but he's one of the most underrated masters of this elusive habit.

Seinfeld's secret isn't in his talent alone, but in his approach to work, dubbed the "Seinfeld Strategy."

Seinfeld's approach is straightforward: He committed to writing jokes every single day. For each day he achieved this task, he marked a big red X on his calendar.

Over time, these Xs formed a chain, representing his consistent efforts.
The goal then shifts from writing great content daily to simply "not breaking the chain" of progress.

In my own experience, grabbing hold of the Seinfeld Strategy has been a game-changer.

It's been effective in my areas of my life — from shedding 35 pounds to making sure I publish at least three posts every week, the devotion to keeping that chain unbroken keeps me fired up and on track.

FOR WHEN YOU MESS UP
I inevitably skip days here and there.

So, my twist on the "never break the chain" philosophy goes like this: missing one day, no biggie; two days, still cool. But three days straight? Not an option.

For me, this is all about keeping ambitious goals realistic, without obsessing over perfection. Building trust and confidence in yourself happens as a byproduct of sticking to the promises you make to you.

A stumble isn't a failure, but a cue to quickly realign. Long-term success lies in persistent dedication, not in maintaining a flawless record.

Use the prompts below to make consistency on social media that much easier.

Happy Creating!
