Happy MLK Day & Happy New Year from all of us here at Feast Down East!
We hope everyone is as excited for this year as we are. The Food Hub and Mobile Market are back in full swing and we have so many exciting plans for this year.
One thing I am super excited about is our semi-newly launched Food Prescription (Rx) Program. We launched this pilot program in partnership with Novant Health in October of 2023 and have been blown away by all the excitement and success of these new market sites.
As we get into the new year, we hope that we will be able to reach more of the community and continue to see the incredible impact that this program is having on food insecurity in our community.
Please note that we will be closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
