We welcomed Gina Chick, the winner of Alone Australia, for an episode of The Imperfects recorded at Spring Bay Mill. This podcast, led by Hugh van Cuylenburg, Ryan Shelton, and Josh van Cuylenburg, explores vulnerability with well-known Australians. Gina shared her remarkable journey of spending 67 days alone in remote Tasmania, embodying resilience and embracing the uncomfortable. Listen here.

Tasmanian Ocean Summit 2023: Navigating Challenges Together

It was our pleasure to host the second Tasmanian Ocean Summit, organised by the Australia Institute. The summit brought together a community of passionate people to address Tasmania's challenges concerning marine resources and climate change impacts. It was a compelling gathering, reinforcing the importance of holistic, integrated management in Tasmania's coastal waters/Sea Country.

Beacon Foundation's High Impact Program: Shaping Future Leaders

We were thrilled to welcome Beacon Foundation's High Impact Program focused on Tourism and Hospitality. Triabunna School students immersed themselves in valuable lessons, learning to identify and promote their skills, understand workplace expectations, and explore diverse career paths. This initiative received grant funding from the Australian Government and support from the Tasmanian Government through the Department of State Growth.

MIRROR: Spotlight on the World Stage

We can reveal that MIRROR, Hong Kong's favourite boyband, graced Tasmania with their presence to shoot a TV series, and guess where the magic happened? None other than Spring Bay Mill! Tasmania will take the spotlight in five episodes of "MIRROR Time," giving viewers an exclusive peek into our stunning surroundings.
