8 tips To Prepare for your engagement session
01
RELAX AND HAVE FUN.
I know it may be intimidating to be in front of the camera but this is supposed to be fun!  I'm sure you have put a lot of thought into the day so just relax and have fun. I am very easy going and have a way to get my couples to relax!
Set up your photo session at time of day that is nothing short of amazing.
02
You will get the best photos if you set up the session at golden hour or during beautiful early morning light (especially if you will be in direct light).
Match your style in wardrobe.
03
Both of you should pick something you feel comfortable wearing but your styles should be similar.  Both Bojo, 70's flair, cowboy country, beachy you get the point!
Pick a place that is beautiful!
04
Location, Location!  I think outdoor shoots are amazing with natural light.  Beautiful fields, coastal bluffs, rolling hills, majestic mountains, redwood forests, all of these are wonderful locations. (Of course a coffee shop where you met is always a cute location too)
Do an activity during your shoot you love!
05
I can really catch your personalities if you do something you love during the photo shoot!  Riding Harley's, riding horses, walking your dogs, hiking, fishing on a dock what ever floats your boat.
Bring along your favorite pet.
06
Pets touch our souls.  They are part of our families.  Bring along Buster or Maxwell to add a sweet element to your engagement photos.
Bring your horse to your shoot.
07
Horses bring a strong wonderful element to any photo shoot.  Are you an equestrian owner let's set up the shoot so that you can bring him!  I am a horse owner myself so I feel very comfortable around them.
Be Romantic.
07
Don't worry about the camera pointed at you.  I have been doing this a long time.  If you share your love with me you will have memories to last a lifetime!
Pick a special place near and dear to your hearts.
08
Was your first date at the beach at sunset?  Did you meet in a coffee shop? Think about that moment when you first met and may be its a perfect place for our session.
