Like anything new, I admit there's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to applying press-on nails. Never fear! I'm here to help.
1. Start with a blank slate.Ensure nails are as squeaky clean as possible for the best results. The oil from our hands can affect the glue setting so wash hands, dry well, then clean nails with rubbing alcohol or vinegar before applying.
2. Clip natural nails.I have found that shorter natural nails underneath make for better results.
3. See ya later, cuticles. Use the wooden stick included in your set to push cuticles back. This ensures the Red Aspen nails will adhere to your natural nails, minimizing future lifting. When applying the nail press firmly under cuticle at a 45 degree angle.
4. The perfect match. Match the dashes to your natural nail before applying. The dash should not be hanging off the edge and your natural nail should not be exposed. Pro-tip: You can use a nail file to gently shape the sides of the nail if needed!
5. Pop offs happen.Lose a nail? No worries! Instead of going all the way back to the nail salon you can simply re-follow the application steps and glue it back on!
6. "I got glue everywhere."So did I my first time! Nail polish remover and a cotton ball will take it right off or wash your hands for a day or two and it will fade away. You will get better every time. Pro-tip: For a cleaner application grab the
Brush On Glue with your next order.
