Hi friends,

Here is a habit that I am trying that is working for me: time boxing tomorrow, today.

This habit is next-level time management since, if you are familiar with my work, you know that I am a huge proponent of rituals, like start and end workday rituals. And I used to do time boxing as part of the start of the workday ritual.

Now, however, I am setting the priorities for the next day AND time-boxing them before I leave work.

Yes, a lot can happen during the work day, like unplanned meetings and requests needing immediate attention. But, believe me, you will not stray so much from your plan. No matter what, having a plan beats zero planning every time!

In “no surprises” days, you might stick to the 80% to 90% plan. In “surprises” days, you may stick to only 50% of it, but as author Jon Acuff always says, some beats none.

The rewards have been amazing so far; I felt the impact of this habit in sharpening my daily focus immediately. It’s so good to open my planner in the morning, see my plan for the day, and start executing.

I want you to try this feeling, too.

Stay close to your plans and goals by sticking to this habit: Plan tomorrow, today.

3. 🎯 Goal setting is so exciting but can be intimidating, stay tuned or my All Year Goals Program, launching soon. Till then, here is great advice:
"Operating with long-term goals will bring you tremendous clarity and resolve. These goals—a project or business to create, for instance—can be relatively ambitious, enough to bring out the best in you. The problem, however, is that they will also tend to generate anxiety as you look at all you have to do to reach them from the present vantage point. To manage such anxiety, you must create a ladder of smaller goals along the way, reaching down to the present. Such objectives are simpler the further down the ladder you go, and you can realize them in relatively short time frames, giving you moments of satisfaction and a sense of progress. Always break tasks into smaller bites.”
― Robert Greene, The Daily Laws

* Note: To the best of my ability, I am trying to share content by authors who have not disappointed me, and they are hard to come by! Please let me know if any author I share about showed disrespect to Palestine.

For the third year, I am delighted to present to you the New Year’s calendar as a gift to use to track your one key habit every month, to plan your appointments and projects, or to jot down one moment to remember every day.

The calendar this year is special because it has 12 quotes from Palestinian authors. Yes, I dedicated this year’s calendar to Palestine and the authors we need to know about, read, and celebrate. While “celebrate” seems like a harsh word nowadays, I wish you would get the chance to spend time with your loved ones, like I am tonight, and that you would forgive me if you do not. I wish you joy and peace, even for moments, and I truly wish we would all celebrate a free Palestine soon.

Enjoy your gift from me, how you use it is up to you.
