Get these three components right and your website will be set up for conversion.
Regardless of your learning style, the majority of people are visual creatures. We absorb information more quickly and easily through imagery than we do text or audio. In fact, 80% of everything humans learn comes from visual stimuli.
It should come as no surprise then that images have a large impact on your website’s success. You can’t just flippantly throw some free stock images and iPhone photos up on your home page and call it a day. 🙅🏻♀️
To create the most impactful website possible for your brand, you need to be as intentional about your image choices as you are your brand identity and copywriting.
That’s the website trifecta. High-quality images, brand identity, and copywriting. Get these three components right and your website will be set up for conversion.
A couple of additional ways high-quality images impact your website:
They help create a confident first impression with new website visitors and invite them to engage with your content
High-quality images increase aesthetic appeal, creating a more emotive connection

from the heart Schedule REST I don't know about you, but I'm pretty tired. 🥱
I know, I know, we've all heard it.
*SCHEDULE REST!*
But do you actually do it?
Maybe you can relate, but I have a tendency to be a bit of a workaholic. If I don’t schedule in rest, I burn out – fast. It’s easy for me to work til 6 or 7 and believe I can get everything done around the house that I want to before bed. That’s almost never true. I have to protect my energy from myself so that I have enough to give where it matters most.
Kendra Adachi, of the Lazy Genius Podcast, talks about 7 different types of rest. They are:
Relax
Reset
Recharge
Need a break
Rest before something busy
Rest during something busy
Rest after something busy
Which one do you need this weekend?

noteworthy news Amazon Affiliates Listen Up! On December 31, 2023 Amazon discontinued it's “Image” and “Text+Image” SiteStripe feature.
If you're an Amazon Affiliate and have embedded products on your website or blog that use the “Image” or “Text+Image” feature from SiteStripe, you may have some work ahead of you.
On December 31, 2023 Amazon discontinued it's “Image” and “Text+Image” SiteStripe feature. This means those links now display broken images on your site. Bummer.

Carl Broadbent has a potential workaround if your website is on WordPress or Showit. You can learn more from him here.
