FELIZ DíA DE SAN VALENTíN
Hello, Spanish teachers,

As February approaches, love is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than by bringing the spirit of Valentine's Day to your classroom? Whether you teach beginners or advanced students, there are lots of creative ways to add Valentine’s Day fun while learning a language!

Spanish Love Vocabulary: Introduce your students to romantic vocabulary in Spanish. Create word lists, flashcards, or engage in interactive activities to teach them words and phrases related to love and relationships. It is a great opportunity to learn new vocabulary as well as practicing ser and adjective/noun agreement.  Click HERE for a free list of Spanish vocabulary.

Valentines in Spanish: Each year we love to have our students write Valentines to each other to practice their writing and increase classroom unity. This not only improves their language skills and who doesn’t love to get Valentines?

Spanish Love Songs: Create a playlist of romantic songs in Spanish and play them during class. Discuss the lyrics, their meanings, and the cultural significance behind the music to make the learning experience more engaging.  Visit our website to not only find Valentine’s Day Resources but some romantic songs.

Short on Time?: Are you thinking I would love to do all of that but I just do not have the time!?! Here is a video that will bring Valentine’s Day to your class in just a few minutes.  😊

Wishing you and your students a ¡Feliz Día de San Valentín!

all the best in your teaching endeavors,
Katie
