-  2024 Year In Review  -

Hi friends!

Walking into 2025, we are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the incredible journey we experienced in 2024 through Warm Hearts Ministry. Your support has been essential in helping us share the gospel and meet the needs of the people of Malawi.

We are excited to provide a recap of everything we were able to accomplish together. God has been so good already, and we look forward to seeing what He will do this year.

Thank you for being a part of the Warm Hearts Ministry family. Together, let us carry the spirit of Jesus into the coming year, believing that the work we do will have an eternal impact on generations to come.

With heartfelt gratitude,

John and Gina Moore

Some highlights from the year…
- We planted a new church! John named it Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

- We were able to distribute the maize from our farm when famine struck the country, providing many families with food.

- A total of 97 goats were distributed between pastors and widows!

- Ntcheu Baptist Church now has their name painted on the church.

Trip to Malawi:

August

John and I travelled to Ntcheu, Malawi in August. While there, we were able to train Sunday school teachers, dedicate one of our wells, distribute goats to some of the pastors and widows, and put on services and a leadership conference. We were truly able to see the impact of your generosity. We can’t believe how much the Lord has accomplished here!

Wells:

This year, we were able to dig two wells! The area where they formerly collected water was causing them to get cholera, so these new wells will ensure safe drinking water for everyone.

The Farm:

One of our biggest accomplishments of the year was starting a farm. Pastor Matt and his team have built a structure to house a guard and store maize and a gated wall to secure animals. As you can see by the picture, the inside of the warehouse is ready to be plastered. Thanks to our generous donations, we were able to add a well and irrigation equipment. This will be a long term solution to help those affected by the famine near Ntcheu. The team harvested 50 bags of maize and some beans from the initial planting in the farm. We are excited to see what can be produced here in the future.

School Sponsorships:

This year we were able to sponsor 20 children in school.

New Year's Program:

Joy, Chifu and their team held a program for children on New Year’s day at Ntcheu Baptist Church. They ate, played games and sang songs. What a sweet way to start the new year!

End of the Year Feeding Program:

We have created a new feeding program at the Amazing Grace Church plant. Pastor Matt reported that there were close to 350 kids on the first day! The kids were so grateful for the food.

What an amazing year this has been! We had such a fruitful trip and got to see the two new wells and the irrigation equipment.  We are excited that the maize we fertilized by hand (with a spoon mind you) did actually grow and produce 50 bags! This gives us the courage to move forward and grow more acreage this year.  We will grow maize and beans on the farm. Thanks to a generous donor we are looking forward to buying goats to raise on the farm. As these have babies we will use them for a variety of purposes. Some we will give away and others we can sell to market to help with ministry.

Please keep in touch through Facebook for future projects. Thank you for entrusting your donations to us and for being interested in the people of Malawi. They need your prayers! Many are starving. We are grateful that those living in the villages we support have not died of starvation this year.

Please pray for the team in Malawi who do the daily work of organizing, managing, farming, distributing, preaching, serving, and loving the people in the villages surrounding Ntcheu.
