Wow, can you believe January's almost wrapped? Fortunately, I'm nearing the end of my own marathon of celebrations. Between Thanksgiving and now, we've crammed in three major holidays, three birthdays, and even our anniversary. To say this season is a busy one would be an understatement. But is there a better way to be busied? Now, I'm turning my sights to pre-spring rituals including a deep clean and reorganize of my home, plus some exciting DIY projects to tackle.

What I’m reading (actually, listening to): Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. So far it's been delightful and I am thoroughly enjoying the characters in all their complex layers.

I love olive oil soap, particularly for cleansing my face. I just discovered this Palestinian made soap that has just 3 ingredients and great reviews.

It’s cold and dry these days and aside from running humidifiers I've been slathering this creme on my little eczema baby (and my hands!). If you haven’t heard of beef tallow and struggle with dry itchy skin you must give it a google. It’s the only thing that has tamed Sami’s eczema and while pricy it lasts a long time and is natural and non-prescription.

This article has been on my mind and making me nostalgic for the days of my childhood, playing outside with friends, unmonitored and unafraid.

My bare walls are getting some art this spring (after over 3 years living here!), and I just bought so many of these IKEA frames. They are my all time favorite, super affordable, and sadly getting discontinued.

My low buy is going okay… but I definitely broke it with this new bag. No regrets though, the small, Los Angeles based company (Building Block) that makes it is going out of business which is such a bummer.

And lastly, I have been revisting this post of parenting advice all week. Particularly the “all time is quality time” idea.
