FOOD SYSTEM TRANSFORMATION:
MOMENTUM IS HAPPENING
 

 
Strategic Plans: Waste Free Greenwich, Neighbor to Neighbor, and UWCWC United Way completed or are in the process of conducting Strategic Plans and GUW Needs Assessment will emphasize affordable housing and food insecurity.
 
CT Land Conservation Council: conference connecting the dots on land use: farming, open space and affordable housing.
 
Food & Nutrition Policy Analyst: Christian Duborg is the new Food & Nutrition Policy Analyst at the CT Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity, and Opportunity.
 
ASPIRES: Alternative System Pathways for Interconnectedness Resilience Equity and Sustainability is a food system research project convening Focus Groups for research guidance. The research is a partnership with UVM Food Systems Research Center.
 
Northeast Regional Food Business Center, a USDA-funded initiative led by the NASDA Foundation that looks to build a more resilient and sustainable regional supply chain network. Our Center is planning to launch a community hub and roll out +$23 million in direct funding to Northeast food and farm communities beginning in summer 2024.
