Hello, nice to meet you!

I'm Rosy, the new Executive Director. I've been on the job for almost a month and I have enjoyed every minute so far. It has been rewarding getting to know the team and gaining a deeper understanding of the role FSWCF plays in our rural communities. I'm incredibly proud to be part of this great organization.

We're kicking off the year with our Forteleza Fund workshop series. These free workshops support immigrant entrepreneurship and are held virtually. Participants that graduate from this program have access to a $2,000 grant to help start their business journey.

We are excited to offer a new round of funding through the USDA’s Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program (RMAP). Details are below.
Our team continues to grow and we currently seek a Director of Lending and a Lending Specialist. Reach out to me if you have questions about these positions. Details are below and on our website under Careers.

Finally, the Workforce Resilience Program Grant is accepting applications. This program supports rural Colorado individuals negatively affected by COVID-19. Below you will find a link to more information and the application. Please note, the application priority due date is March 1, 2024.

Thank you for being part of the FSWCF community. Your continued support is what drives us forward. Together we are making a positive impact in our rural Colorado communities and, as we begin this yew year we're filled with excitement and energy.

Best regards,

Rosy Aburto McDonough
Executive Director
