Hey, Thailand Team!

NRCA students! We cannot wait for your trip and looking forward to a great trip! Are you getting excited? Here are a few important questions that we would love for you to think through this week:

1. What is my quiet time looking like right now with God?
2. Have I specifically been praying for my team?
3. Who have I talked to and encouraged from our team this week?
4. How much do I still owe for my trip?

Some of you may have never flown on an airplane. We want to make sure you feel prepared for your trip since it can (and should) be a fun! Below you will find the Address to the Charlotte Airport. Our CKM Rep Erin Turner will meet the team at the gate. This email also includes your flight information, and some helpful suggestions for traveling!

TRAVEL SUGGESTIONS
  • What to Wear | Dress casually and comfortably (but no pajamas) and avoid wearing too many accessories (belts, jewelry, hats) for an stress-free airport security experience.

  • What to Bring | You are allowed to bring 1 suitcase to check, 1 small carry-on bag, and 1 personal item (purse or backpack). You will want to keep your passport in your carry-on bag. Make sure that all of your carry-on liquids are in 3oz or less containers and all fit in a 1-quart size ziploc bag. Do not overpack! You will need to be able to carry all of your bags on your own and may be asked to pack a few ministry items for our team!

  • In the Airport | After checking your bags and going through security, you are welcome to purchase a snack or something to drink (drink lots of water!!). Please follow your team leader's instructions for staying in groups and listen for what time you need to be at your gate.

  • On the Plane | You will normally get a meal on your flight longest flight. However, we suggest bringing some extra snacks with you (don't overpack snacks though!) since it could be several hours before your next official meal. We also suggest bringing a jacket/sweater and socks (if you are wearing sandals) in case it gets cold while in flight.

Call us if you have any questions about your flights or travel details! Have a great week.
