Happy February from Colour and Cotton Needleworks…we have some new things to share with you!

 

First, mark your calendars for our first in-person stitching “retreat” in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, April 20.

This is an all-day stitching experience hosted by us - bring a favorite project or two to stitch, wear some comfy clothes and make new friends who love needlework, too! Registration will be online only at www.colourandcotton.com. Online registration will open on Friday, February 9 at 10:00 am CST.

 

WHEN: Saturday, April 20 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

WHERE: The Lodge Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Rd, Des Peres, MO 63131 (approximately 4 miles from our store)

COST: $50 per attendee, which includes admission, plus a catered breakfast, lunch and beverages throughout the day

 

Our store will still be open that day should you wish to pop over and shop. Light shopping will also be available in our room at The Lodge. Other activities include a charity raffle featuring lots of stitchy prizes.

Colour and Cotton Needleworks be attending Nashville Needlework Market, the industry's premier cross stitch and needlework annual trade show, as a buyer in just a few weeks. Designers and vendors are beginning to share new release details, and we plan to bring lots of goodies home with us.

 

We've also added a new feature on our website to pick orders up in person at our brick and mortar store at no charge. Not local to St. Louis? You can still place online orders for shipping (or combine with your monthly subscription club shipment) and we'll promptly begin shipping your orders upon our return on March 4. You can place as many Market orders as you'd like and we'll combine them - be sure to check back often for new releases.

Calling all interested model stitchers…we are looking for stitchers to create samples and models for a variety of projects for us - both in-store models and possible new release designs. You'll only need to complete the stitching - we'll take care of framing and fully finishing all models.

 

You do not need to be local to St. Louis to stitch for us - we are absolutely happy to work with you remotely!
