1- Chinese lunar new year (Sat Feb. 10):

   our friend Tara of @tarasdumplings        fame says our ground pork is the          best for dumplings. I think it's          because unlike a lot of commercial        ground meat, ours doesn't contain        a lot of water and therefore doesn't      release a lot of water when cooked!

2- Super bowl (Sun Feb. 11) 

   Not officially a holiday, but a          religious experience for some, so who    are we to judge. I won't pretend that    we have enough chicken wings to          satisfy the city's wing needs, but i      will say that there are OTHER Super      bowl traditions that we can supply        the goods for, such as CHILI, either      our version or your own. According to    the American National Chicken            Council, Americans consume more than      100 million pounds of chicken wings      on Super Bowl Sunday. That is a          terrifying statistic. Eat something      else!  

3- Valentine's Day (Wed Feb. 14) 

   We can make any steak heart-shaped.      We can make heart-shaped burgers,        chicken heart skewers, ox heart          steaks. 

4- Family day (Mon Feb. 19)

   Ok, not in QC officially, but surely      we like families enough here to want      to get on board and celebrate with a      nice dinner of homemade hamburger        helper? 

 

Jerky is one of those things that is universally beloved. Literally everyone likes it (no need to share any exceptions). We have historically had a hard time keeping up with jerky production for many reasons I will not get into here. But our resolution for 2024 is to keep you in jerky. Three kinds: Traditional (slightly spicy) beef, Mild BBQ pork, and Bak Kwa (fish sauce/soy sauce/brown sugar) pork. For now, only beef available onine, but we're working on that too.
