Hi First name / friend,
 
It's been a fun week - I've been busy creating a couple of things I hope you'll love. I've taken a bit of a trip down memory lane with some candy hearts. I'm also pretty excited to share the first of the Quilt Math Guides I use - and have adapted for you to use as well. Further down, you'll find some quilty treasures that I've added to the shop.

As a pattern designer - it's my job to accurately calculate the amount of yardage needed for every pattern I write. You wouldn't be very happy to purchase a pattern and the fabric only to find out you don't have enough (or way too much) fabric.
 
To help me with accuracy - and save time - I've created some tools I use when I'm calculating yardage and cut pieces of fabric. These tools are in the form of Charts and Guides and I refer to them all the time.
 
 
A Little Fun with Candy Hearts

Ready for a little bit of nostalgia? I've loved these cute candy hearts since I was a little kid. For Valentine's Day, I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and create a Word Search using those words and phrases that are printed on these little heart-shaped sugar bombs.

Over 30 vendors and over 300 quilts on display or for sale. This show is held February 15th - 17th at the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center - Columbia Hall and is a 3-day event. Something fun to attend - nearly every month of 2024!
