My book in this collection is a minotaur romance set in my upcoming new monster town series. I love books that are connected standalone stories, where you get a beautiful happily ever after, but you also bumping into characters and places from other books set in the same town. That's what you'll get in my Fate's Falls series. I'm excited for you to visit this year!
Here's the book blurb for Mated to the Minotaur, releasing April 1st!
When my cousin calls—in tears because her parents won’t accept her fiancé because “his skin is a different color”—I give her the “we ride at dawn” support she needs and deserves. Which lands me in the position of maid of honor for her upcoming wedding—in exactly three weeks.
Juggling my work schedule, booking a flight halfway across the country, and getting a dress that’s “any color other than green” are doable. Making other arrangements in a town Google can’t locate is more challenging. Not wanting to add to my cousin’s stress, I ask for the best man’s contact info under the guise of coordinating with him about wedding stuff.
Constantine is happy to help. With a hotel reservation. By sending me the numbers for my cousin’s hairdresser and the nail salon. A couple of text messages in, we switch to phone calls to make it easier to discuss the wedding rehearsal party plans. And his voice…it’s enough to make me swoon. Or spontaneously combust. Both at the same time, honestly.
Our calls don’t end once the plans are hammered out. They get friendlier. More personal. To the point that I’m the one with pre-wedding butterflies when I arrive in the mysterious town of Fate’s Falls. I don’t know what Constantine looks like, nor do I care. I’m not superficial or a racist like my cousin’s parents. I’m as open-minded as it gets.
But I’m human. As in, literally. And Constantine…is not. Also literally. The man I’ve been crushing on is a monster, and a huge one at that. The hulking minotaur could crush me—again, literally—in one of his massive hands. Logically, I should be scared, but I’m the opposite. I assume it’s because I’m the adventurous type, and more than a little curious to know if the hunky minotaur is monstrous all over. It’s just some wedding fun, right?
Constantine has other ideas. He insists our connection is deeper than physical chemistry. He believes we’re mates. As in, fated mates.
I came to Fate’s Falls to support my cousin and maybe have some fun with the deep-voiced best man before going back to my life already in progress. But apparently, once you’re mated to the minotaur, there’s no going back.
