Elevate is back again this year, and we'd love for you to join us! The 100 Women Strong Elevate Summit is a full-day event aimed at exploring the resiliency of a community through the lens of supporting women and children. |
|
After collecting anonymous surveys from participants to create a community report and identifying trends through qualitative conversation notes, we're ready to take the next step: the TableTalk Town Hall. During this event, attendees will get a closer look at the community report, presented by Bahiyyah Maroon of the Polis Institute, hear from TableTalk Super Hosts, take a deeper dive into our Letter to Leaders, and more. If you're interested in solutions-based, data-driven conversations with community leaders, this event is for you! |

New Post: It's the Perfect Time to Reflect on Your Personal Vision Plan |
|
Our 3-Year Strategic Planning Session This month, 100 Women Strong members participated in our strategic planning session to determine our grantmaking focus for the next 3 years! This is step one in “charting our course” as we continue to serve the women and children of our region. Next steps include an all-member vote, followed by an announcement to our community on the direction we've collectively chosen. |

What was our focus for the last 3 years? For a bit of context, our initiative has been focused on economic empowerment for the last three years, as reflected by our grants since 2022: 2022: a grant to Poverty Solutions Group to support a pilot program aimed at reducing poverty and increasing economic stability, therefore reducing the risk of financial abuse and coercion, a key factor in domestic abuse 2024: our most recent grant to Women on the Rise (WOTR) to support the first two cohorts of a holistic career development program* *As a reminder, you can help WOTR raise funds for the 3rd cohort by donating here and noting your intentions for your donation. Central Florida Foundation has committed a matching $35,000 grant. Our move to a new focus area does not, however, mean our work is done in this space. Our team will continue to support and keep the conversation going with our past grantees as their programs continue to develop and flourish in our community. Our new focus area will complement and support the infrastructure we and community partners are building for a better Central Florida for all women and children. Our new focus area will be selected based on our impact framework, as seen below. |
