Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! Here are your remote job updates for Wednesday.
FlexJobs - This is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely.
Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies. The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs -- all of which are either remote or flexible in nature -- five days per week.
There are also no ads on the site!
Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts. But it's cheap -- you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days!
If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.

- Brandt - Call Center Agents. Anywhere in the US. Must be tech savvy and self motivated with a strong internet connection. Prior customer service experience preferred but not required. Pay is $12 / hour.
- HGS – Customer Care Professionals. GA, TX, SC. 1 year of prior customer service/sales experience is required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay for this position is $14 / hour.
- PrepNow - Read PrepNow Review - US only. This is a company that hires people to work at home tutoring students on the SAT, ACT, and Math. Must have experience tutoring plus a 4-year college degree. Pays between $15 and $19 hourly.
- Tellwut - Survey Respondents. US and Canada. This is a fun survey panel with short polls and surveys you can take to earn cash and gift cards. Highly rated by Survey Police. Currently they are needing people in the US and also Canada to sign up.
- Equivity - Equivity is hiring virtual paralegals in the US and some other specific states (depends on the position). This position requires a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college program. Your exact pay rate will vary depending on the position you apply for, but most start at $20 hourly.
- Grow Therapy - Grow Therapy is currently looking for remote marriage and family therapists in several different US locations. This can be full or part-time work.To qualify, you must be an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, Ph.D. or MD, have 1-3 years of experience, and malpractice insurance. Pay is listed at between $70 to $90 hourly on Indeed, with Glassdoor estimating the salary at $66,000 yearly.
- Embrace - Embrace is hiring a remote customer success specialist. Anywhere in the US. This is a full-time role.This is an entry level position. They're looking for candidates who're willing to learn with strong communication skills, and an affinity for teamwork. Pay is $20 / hour.
- Crowdtap - Surveys & Product Testing. Crowdtap can be your go-to side hustle. Get rewarded for spending just a few minutes answering questions honestly. Surveys can be as short as 1 question, and you can cash out your rewards starting at $5. Apply to give opinions on cool free products (product testing). Top members get the chance to be interviewed for $25, $50, or more.
- Acorn Transcripts, LLC. – Transcribers. Anywhere in the US. Must have experience transcribing digital audio files and experience with court terminology. You'll also need good quality headphones and a foot pedal for audio playback. Salary is unknown
- ShoutVox - Freelance Content Writers. Anywhere in the US. Must have understanding of SEO and MS Office proficiency, as well as excellent writing skills and ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
