This week's FEATURED saleS |
SFN: If you could spend either a week in the past or a week in the future, where and when would you go? |
AP: If I could spend a week in the past, I would go back to when I went to college in NYC. I studied acting there before the pandemic, and it was such an incredible experience, the good, bad, and ugly! I'd really enjoy getting to be in NYC again before so much changed. |
SFN: How did you learn to narrate audiobooks? |
AP: I took a course with the brilliant Elise Arsenault, called The Great Audiobook Adventure. It really set me up for success in this industry and I still get to utilize the tools now. |
SFN: How long are your recording days? How do you keep yourself present/fresh/awake...? |
AP: The length of my recording days vary, but ideally, I try to only have to record 3-4 hours a day. I make sure to take breaks when I need them. Fortunately my schedule is flexible and determined by me, so if I do need to sneak in a nap in the mornings when I'm extra tired, I do. |
SFN: What's the oddest object inside your booth? |
AP: At times, my curious cat, Azula! |
SFN: What do you love to do on your days off? |
AP: I love to spend time with people since I predominately work alone so much. You can find me (or us) watching TV and films, trying a new restaurant, cooking new recipes, dancing, enjoying some fresh air, traveling, and napping with Azula! |
