A list of timeless, classics needs a shoe or two, right??
Well ladies, in my opinion, the white sneaker ranks up there with a white buttondown and white tee in the World of Basics.
Shoes are hard. Feet hurt. We want to be able to walk without pain

Welp…someone finally listened to us because the classic white sneaker is not only on-trend and ageless, but it's also incredibly versatile and totally comfortable.
The key is that we're not talking about your exercise shoes or gardening shoes, or bowling shoes (you get the idea). These are white sneakers that you wear when you want to look modern and casual and cool. ✅✅✅
I'd argue that along with a nude heel, taupe booties and a loafer, a classic white sneaker (otherwise known as “tennis shoes” or “court shoes”) are a BASIC ESSENTIAL.
Anywhere you go these days, women young and old are wearing white leather sneakers.
They look fantastic with everything from dresses to jeans (best with ankle or cuffed jeans in my opinion but that isn't the “rule” anymore).
if you worry about getting them dirty, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser does the trick, especially if your sneaks are leather.
Below are some options in various price points…including the trendy retro New Balance style. I think these are a “nice-to-have” while classic white leather are a “must-have”.
If you're looking for more of splurge or want a pair your daughter will steal, grab a pair of vejas - very hip and cool – but classic.
