Regardless of lifestyle, I would argue we all need at least ONE go-to neutral day dress. It needs to fit today and it needs to be something you could wear on a dime if the occasion popped up. You'll thank me if get this one squared away.
That said…your neutral day dress does NOT need to be black either. It can be navy, gray, cream, beige…or even blush or wine…just make sure it's something you can pair with various toppers and wear many different ways….Dress it up, dress it down - you know the drill;)
