There are lots of options for the ever-necessary neutral coat/jacket, but the  trench coat is possibly the most classic and a wardrobe workhorse.   It goes with practically everything and creates a chic and polished, yet modern vibe.

 

Recently the trench coat has become very “on trend” and you'll see it worn with everyday outfits - both very casually and business-dressy. You'll even seen it worn with jeans/athleisurewear and sneakers. So no need to save it for a rainy day.

 

Now is a great time to pull out the one you have, or pick up a new one and wear it as a layer over your other basics.
