A WILD PERSPECTIVE #50 April 2024 |

Hi First name / everyone I hope you are well? I am sorry that this months newsletter is a little late, and that I didn't do a mid month newsletter in March. Sadly it has been such a busy last few weeks. I have been between Namibia, the Okavango Delta, the Kalahari, South Africa where I was organising the South African Photographer of the Year (more about that later), and now I am about to board a plane to Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe! So it is fair to say time is not on my side. Having said that, I hope you enjoy Aprils newsletter, and part 2 of the East Africa series! - William |

What better way to celebrate the 50th edition of “A Wild Perspective” newsletter, and thank you all for the incredible support, than giving a huge discount on my photographic prints. I have put all of my limited edition prints on a 50% discount, 1% for ever newsletter! If you would like any other of my images as a print feel free to send me a message, as most are available. Thank you so much for your continued support of “A Wild Perspective”! |

My trip to Kenya earlier this year was to help showcase how beautiful the Masai Mara can be out of migration season. Later in the newsletter I have linked to my video for Pangolin sharing why this is a great way to beat the crowds but still get amazing images. Here are a selection of my favourite images from this trip, I hope you enjoy! |

Make sure to check out my latest video on the Masai Mara for Pangolin Photo Safaris! |

In 2021 I started the South African Photographer of the Year competition. Since its inception the goal has been to showcase the incredible diversity of South Africas natural beauty while providing a platform to celebrate the amazing photographer's that capture it. Each year the competition is growing and I am so excited to see it achieving these goals. On April 4th, 2024, we had the pleasure of announcing the incredible SAPOTY 2023 competition winners, and what a breathtaking selection of images we had this year! I have put a link below to view all amateur and professional winners. A huge congratulations not only to the winners but all shortlisted photographers, who can also be seen on the website linked below! |

Thank you as always for reading and I cannot wait to hear what you think of this months newsletter! The next newsletter is coming soon, so make sure you have signed up and feel free to forward it to your friends! |
