food for thought
Everything is always all good when you choose to see everything - and everyone - as your teacher.
I have to credit the Hoffman Institute for this incredible change in how I live in the world. I always agreed conceptually that there are valuable lessons to be learned in every experience, regardless of whether or not I perceive them as being “good” or “bad.”
Really leaning into this though and actually embodying it is a whole different story than simply understanding it to be true. And though I wish I could transfer my own integration to you through osmosis, the simplest practice I can offer is to consistently ask God or source, the universe, whatever higher power you believe in; “What is the lesson here? What is this moment, experience, person, situation here to teach me? How can this - good, bad, ugly - help me grow?” Choose to see everything as an opportunity for growth and it will be.
When I'm living my life from this place of curiosity and full acceptance of what is, I experience more clarity, connection, flow and magic. At times it is definitely more difficult than others but from where I am today, there really is no other way. Everything is here for our highest growth and evolution; especially the things, people, emotions and situations we resist.
