A Note from Kim….
Wow, February is flying by and the market is starting to heat up! If you are interested in buying or selling this year, I recommend we schedule a time to meet now to get a plan in place to ensure success!

Earlier this month I hosted a Galentine's event at Glamorous Nails in West Linn.  I had nearly 30 women join me for a morning of friendship, pedicures and treats.  I wanted to thank all the ladies in my life who are such great supporters of my business and help them find a little time for relaxation.

What surprised me most when speaking with most of the women is how rarely they take a morning for self care and how long it had been since each of them had their nails done.  It's confirmed, we all were overdue for a little pampering!  It was so relaxing and fun for all of us! ❤

DESIGN TRENDS

Whether you’re refreshing your home, looking to redecorate a room or planning a major renovation at some point this year, here are some Interior Design trends to consider:

Curves: curved sofas, chairs and case goods have been major trends in recent years and this year curved pieces will only become more interesting.  These pieces make for cozy conversation areas as well as floating furniture easily in a room.

Dramatic: big artwork is back in style. It's a great way to add a lot of life to a room without feeling like you're going over the top.

Dark Woods in Warmer Shades: try this in both furniture & flooring for making a statement.

Bold Colors: enjoy your favorite colors infused in paint, tile, millwork & fabrics.

Personalized Spaces: vintage one-of-a-kind pieces and family heirlooms play leading roles in a room and bring back a sense of nostalgia.

My favorite business feature! Kyra's Bake Shop
If you have not been to Kyra's Bake Shop in Lake Oswego, run, don't walk over to try one of the many amazing desserts at Kyra's.

Bakery founder Kyra Bussanich is a three-time champion of the Foot Network's “Cupcake Wars” show and has the most creative, gluten free cupcakes I have ever seen. Expect flavors like lemon basil, chai spice and hot chocolate.

I also love Kyra's as a fun, after school date spot with my daughter to catch up on our day and if you need a hostess gift for a party, bringing a box of cupcakes is always a big hit with a crowd.

I hope you love Kyra's as much as I do!
