I'm back with volume 11 of The Sunday Series and this week we are going deep.
Yesterday morning I tuned into a podcast, one of my favorites, “Keepin’ It Positive Sweetie” and it featured Pretty Vee. While you may know her from her Instagram skits, from this podcast interview I learned so much more about her. One thing she said that stuck with me is “There’s a process before the promise.” I had to rewind and catch that word a few times!
So today’s Sunday Series is about the process before the promise.
Each step we take and every challenge we overcome are part of a transformative journey toward our goals and aspirations. In Jeremiah 29:11, it is written: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." These words remind us that our journey is guided by a divine purpose, filled with promise and possibility.
First name / Girlfriend, the magic happens on the journey. It's in the process of striving, pushing boundaries, and embracing new experiences that we truly discover our strength, resilience, and potential. Every obstacle we face is an opportunity to learn and adapt so we can take the lesson and move forward.
I know it's not always easy. As you’ve seen me share on my recent
TikTok video, setbacks and unexpected twists are bound to happen. But it's during these times that we have the chance to dig deep, to tap into our inner strength, and to rise above any challenge that comes our way. Romans 5:3-4 says “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
You have to embrace every step of this journey with courage, determination, and unwavering belief in yourself First name / girlfriend.
Think of the process as your personal growth incubator.
It's where you:
Forge resilience: Every hurdle overcome, every setback navigated, strengthens your inner resolve, equipping you to face future challenges with confidence.
Discover hidden strengths: As you push your boundaries and experiment with new approaches, you uncover talents and capabilities you never knew you possessed.
Cultivate unwavering grit: The process is your personal crucible, where you refine your determination and learn to embrace the discomfort that comes with growth.
The process is not merely a means to an end; it's the fertile ground where growth blossoms and transformation takes root. It's where you develop the skills, build the confidence, and discover the inner strength you need to not just reach your dreams, but conquer them with grace and resilience. So, as you set out on this path toward your dreams, remember that the process is just as important, if not more so, than the promise at the end. It's the journey that shapes you, molds you, and ultimately leads you to greatness.
