Last month I promised an update on my Wicked Plants project. And here it is in picture format. I loved the “salted-mist” effect on the purple leaves, but it just didn't work with the theme overall. So…I spent lots of extra hours trying to fix it. Generally speaking, I (think I) know where I'm going with this now - it's just taking me a while to get there.

I had a doll just like this one, so seeing a vintage Dusty (with her trusty golden palomino, Nugget) on eBay gave me a massive flashback to the 70’s. I’m not sure that was a good thing. I was confused about the world in the 1970’s…and unfortunately, I still am. But it was a fun trip down memory lane. Do you have a favorite doll or other toy that you’d like to share?
