SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE
march, 2024

Wishing you a “pot of gold” for St. Patrick’s Day…meaning happiness, health & abundance!

So, I’m thinking…let’s do something fun this Irish holiday month and celebrate the color of green. Green for the shamrock and Luck o’ the Irish! Green for the subtle and vibrant shades of flora…the plants, trees, and grasses. Green for the textured shades of fauna…the frogs, turtles, and birds. Green for the gemstones…the sparkling shades of peridot, emerald, and malachite. Green for the wholesome foods we eat…the avocados, peas, and kiwis. How fun it is to visualize the countless colors of green and how many things are created in this exciting color palate so abundant in nature.

Since diamonds, gems and jewelry are my business, let me share some wonderful energetic properties of the three green gems I noted above. There are dozens more green color gemstones…which is your favorite?

PERIDOT
Peridot is a positive energy stone. It vibrates with the energy of sunshine, showering you with blessings and abundance. It helps bring the physical reality of your life into alignment with your true purpose and joy. It can help you release past hardships, and step into a new reality of fruitful goodness.

EMERALD
Emerald is a pure activator of the heart chakra. It helps you stay centered in your heart’s wisdom, and to make choices from love and compassion. It opens your heart to receiving the flow of universal abundance available to us all, and in this way is an abundance stone.  It can help heal heartbreak and nourish your emotional self.

Malachite is a stalwart protector and bolsterer of your strength and willpower. It helps you access your innate power and protects you from negativity as you take action in the world.

Elizabeth Taylor’s Enduring Impact on Natural Diamond Jewelry Style

February 27 marks what would have been Elizabeth Taylor’s 91st birthday.

Though the Hollywood icon passed away 12 years ago, her alluring mystique and natural diamond style influence lives on. Celebrities of today continue to hold a torch for Taylor’s lavish diamond obsession, from the likes of Kim Kardashian, Julianne Moore, Zendaya, Bella Hadid and more.

Taylor’s name has been saturating headlines yet again, with the release of several new books and documentaries peeling the onion to reveal the layers of her life. Erotic Vagrancy by Roger Lewis looks into the relationship between the actress and her on-again-off-again love, actor Richard Burton, while Cocktails With George and Martha by Philip Gefter tells the behind-the-scenes story of Taylor’s 1966 film Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, which won the star the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

How often are you randomly kind? Be a joyful giver!

Randomly doing or saying kind things are my absolute favorite! It’s so joyful to do something kind for another person…especially those which are so unexpected and catches someone by complete surprise. Kind gestures or words can uplift another in ways which cannot even be measured.  It literally can make someone’s day!  We really just don’t know what someone is going through in their life, and having someone do something kind and unexpected can change their mindset and have a rippling effect. Think of the times when someone has made you feel special and appreciated. Doesn’t this motivate you to pay it forward? Get in the habit of doing something kind daily for someone else and it will fill and expand your own heart.
