It's a different world tour!
This SHOW is the reason I went to a HBCU! I loved everything about this show and I'm excited they are going to do something like this. This show & cast has impacted thousands if not millions. The cast of the ’80s sitcom “A Different World” is reuniting to hit the road for a 10-city tour to various historically Black colleges and universities to highlight the cultural impact of the show. The tour will kick off Feb. 29 at the Atlanta University Center, home to Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College. Other scheduled stops in April include Howard University in Washington, D.C., and both Alabama State University and Tuskegee University in Alabama. Ooooooh it would be so cool if I could interview them.

seasons of Marriage

Last weekend, Earl and I attend the Love on Purpose Marriage Conference. We've attended this conference 4 times and each time we leave with nuggets. We look at it as a marriage refresher. Many things we know, but forget about. Somethings are new and we are opening to trying them in our marriage. They always try to do something different and fun, which makes us enjoy going. People can go to all types of conferences for their business, mom life, self-care … if you're married, you already know it's not the easiest things to experience. So a conference to remind you of some things and make them better is just what I need.

Reply to this email if you're married and tell me if you take the time to invest in your marriage & how?

What's new/going on with me:
  1. You Tube I've been staying committed to my weekly videos since the start of the year. My last requirement to get monetized is 4000 minutes of watched videos in 365 days. I think I'm around 300. Wooosaaa … So if you think of me while you're on YouTube, watch a video or two! LOL!! My latest series is on Parenting a HS Senior and things I didn't know that could help you. My first two videos are. 1. Beware: The Top 10 Shocking cost of HS Senior Year https://youtu.be/0EvogrF4naE  2. Learning the Hard Way: The Shocking Truth of HS Senior Year Parenting https://youtu.be/TwwUhmaLwiE
  2. SPORTS MOM DUTY- Both of my two younger children run track. This week, my daughter's high school track season has finally started. For her first track meet, she hurt her ankle on her first long jump attempt! But then came in 1st on the 100 Hurdles & 200 Meter Run. I'm so proud of her and looking forward to seeing what this season brings. I will say … being a track mom is an experience. The practices, the driving, the long track meets. It's almost a 9 month long experience. We started practicing with her coach in Oct. 2023 I NEED A BREAK! But I'm here for as long as the kids need me.
  3. New Skill alert!! I'm interested in learning Webflow. it's supposed to be an easier way to build a website without code and so many name brand companies are using platform. I want to learn so I can build my daughter a site for coaches to find her, then build me a new site.
