The Benefits of Living in Rhythm

With burgeoning rates of chronic disease, inflammatory disorders and hormonal imbalances (our grandmothers had at 35 the hormones we now only do in our 20s!), our society is aching for a new rhythm, a new flow. 
 
Ayurvedic medicine and lifestyle practices teach us that our bodies are constantly flowing through the doshas, or elemental forces that exist in all living things. If the body is patterned to the forces of nature, then our daily, seasonal and lifetime practices should be as well. ☀️
 
“Living in Rhythm” means attuning to your daily, seasonal and life-cycle needs. This means adjusting lifestyle and nutritional needs during seasonal shifts and creating healthy boundaries that support the flow of life. 🌊
 
When we learn to read our rhythms better, we can avoid states of imbalance before they happen, bounce back from burdensome health challenges, and create awareness around what brings us harmony and what brings us disease.
